Banned for no reason

Reason you want to be unbanned: I feel I was unfairly banned, I was playing and I had 5 ping, 0-1 on my net_Graph 3.. I kept being moved to spec and I had to ask several times 'Why?' before I got any sort of answer which merely said - 'Fix your rates'
I checked my rates, and even did '@ratehelp' to double check the server provision. my cl_updaterate was 100, cl_cmdrate 100 and rate 25000, I repeated this to the world, and every time i tried to join in I was put to spec again. They didn't believe I could have such a ping. I don't know how I did have but there was nothing wrong with my rates. After exclaiming that there was nothing wrong I was kicked and banned. I feel this is totally unjustified and is merely an admin not wanting to put up with something they don't believe. The server forces rates for a start, secondly someone said they have a way to check player rates so why didn't they do this? I have been a fan of aerelon since I first played on it a couple of years ago and I sought it out to play again. I am sorely dissapointed to be treated in such a manner. Firstly I had to pretty much beg as to a reason why I was being forced to spec, then when I tried to prove my rates (I even copy + pasted it from the console) I was banned with no warning, and no valid reason.


Edit: Admin VIP GOODGUY (Leif) Was on the server at the time, I have played a few rounds with him before. If there is a valid reason as to why I was banned I would like to know. If there is something I need to change could someone please inform me.

who was the admin who banned you? was it leif?

Im not sure Kal_el, there was another on the server, but they left and also another joined just before I was banned. I mentioned Leif was on there as he may know more about the situation. The ban message was blank - just said 'Kicked and banned'

Edit: I have been on the server today so I guess ban was lifted - rates were fine, ping was around 25-30.. Thank you.
