You may well have come across this one already but it was new to me.

Vista internet security 2010 or xp internet security 2010 or windows 7 internet security 2010.

nasty little hijacking program which takes over defender and security centre so you think its real and you believe its bullshit warnings of security breaches and such shit.

Anyway, my youngest managed to get it for me but luckily told me about it before clicking anything. I had to delete her account to get rid of it as the instructions online proved to be worthless and the tools you can buy equally so.

lol i've run into this sucker a few times on other peoples computers (any computer that fionas sister uses seems to magically get it)

I've ran into this problem both at work and on some of my dads friends machines. One was a bit nasty and displayed it directly from logon, couldn't ctrl+alt+del, no desktop/windows start bar visibility, no ctrl+f4. Nasty little bitch.

anyway, I use malwarebytes, by far the best anti malware program I've had, and it's free.
